GATE 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to appear for the exam need to fulfill the GATE 2024 eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria of GATE 2024 comprise education qualification, age, domicile, and much more. Candidates who meet the GATE exam eligibility criteria can give the GATE exam. However, the candidates need to complete the GATE entrance exam 2024 registration before the last date. GATE 2024 Application Form
IISc Bangalore has released the GATE application form 2024 in online mode. Candidates who meet the eligibility conditions have to apply online. The authority has announced the GATE 2024 registration date online at the official website. Candidates can check the date to know the GATE 2024 application form last date. While filling out the GATE exam registration form, aspirants should ensure that the name of the candidate in the GATE registration 2024 is exactly the same as that in the valid photo ID, which the candidate must produce in original while appearing for the GATE examination at the centre. No application form will be accepted after the GATE 2024 last date to apply.
Steps to fill GATE registration form 2024
- The first step is registration for GATE 2024. Candidates have to register for the GATE exam through the GOAPS 2024 portal. The GATE 2024 registration will include details like the Candidate’s first, middle name, and surname, valid email id, country of residence, Mobile Number, and password. After adding the details, candidates have to enter the OTP received on the mobile number and registered Email ID. A unique enrollment ID will be allotted to the successfully registered candidates.
- Once registered, candidates have to complete the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2024 application form with details like Personal details, Academic details, communication details, a paper appearing for, exam centre details, photo id proof, signature, and category certificate (for reserved categories).
- Next, upload scanned images of photos, signatures, and other documents as per the specification.
- Finally, candidates have to pay the GATE application fee in online mode.

GATE 2024 Cutoff
Along with the declaration of IISc Banglore GATE 2024 result, the authorities will also release the subject-wise cutoff. Only those candidates who will meet the cutoff will be declared qualified. The GATE cutoff 2024 is yet to be released. In the meantime, candidates can check previous year’s GATE cutoff.
GATE 2024 Counselling
Candidates who will be declared qualified will have to use GATE COAP and CCMT portals for counselling purposes. The GATE counselling 2024 and admission process for IITs are done through the Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP), while, for admissions into NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and IIITs & GFTIs, Centralised Counselling for M.Tech. GATE COAP 2024
Common Offer Acceptance Portal, also known as COAP is a portal that provides a common platform for candidates who wish to get admission to the M.Tech programmes in the participating institutes or job offers from participating public sector unit (PSUs). Candidates having valid GATE scores 2024 need to register at COAP and at the institute’s portal for admission. All the participating IITs and IISc Bangalore will publish seat allotment result at the COAP portal. Using the COAP portal 2024, candidates will have to check their seat allotment status and accept/ reject the seat.

PSU Recruitment Through GATE 2024
